Trainee Geotechnical Site Operative

Trainee Geotechnical Site Operative Bromsgrove We're looking for a motivated Trainee Geotechnical Site Operative to join our team. No previous geotechnical experience is required—we'll provide full training to help you build a rewarding career in ground investigation. Working alongside experienced operatives, you'll assist with ground investigations for construction and engineering projects, developing the skills to progress into a Lead Geotechnical Site Operative.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, eager to learn, enjoys working outdoors, is happy to travel to different sites, works well in a team, and has a strong commitment to health and safety. You'll be trained to:
Assist with borehole drilling, trial pits, soil sampling and in-situ testing. Collect laboratory samples and complete site records. Drive company vehicles and identify underground services safely. Work in accordance with RAMS, risk assessments and company procedures. Operate borehole rigs, dynamic probes, mini piling equipment and excavators (where licensed). Carry out C , plate bearing and BRE 365 infiltration testing. Undertake drainage CCTV surveys and concrete core drilling.

Manage digital site records (iAuditor), lead site investigations and supervise junior operatives. Essential:
Full UK Driving Licence. Due to our current vehicle insurance policy, applicants must be aged 25 or over and have held their full UK driving licence for a minimum of 3 years . Right to work in the UK.
