Sales Office Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Office Manager to join our clients team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires a unique combination of technical engineering knowledge and strong people management skills. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, managing both telephone and email communications while overseeing the preparation of quotes, processing orders, and handling technical enquiries.

This position is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent customer liaison skills combined with a solid engineering background. You will be responsible for leading the sales office team, ensuring exceptional customer service delivery, and maintaining operational excellence across all administrative and sales support functions.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all customer enquiries received via telephone and email
• Provide prompt, professional, and accurate responses to customer questions and concerns
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently, escalating when necessary
• Ensure all customer interactions are logged and tracked appropriately
• Maintain high standards of customer service across the sales office team

• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for customers based on their specifications and requirements
• Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and technical teams to fulfill customer orders
• Maintain and update customer databases and sales records
• Generate sales reports and performance metrics for management review
• Monitor order progress and keep customers informed of delivery schedules
• Handle invoicing and coordinate with the finance department on payment matters
