CAD​/REVIT Technician

CAD / REVIT Technician - Water Industry Building Services / HVAC

A specialist contractor delivering industrial, utilities and water sector projects is looking for a CAD / REVIT Technician. You will support project delivery by producing high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models.

• Produce high-quality AutoCAD 2D drawings and REVIT 3D models, including layouts, GA drawings, P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and technical details.
• Interpret system designs, site sketches, and technical data to create accurate mechanical and HVAC drawings (ductwork, pipework, plant layouts, and fabrication details).
• Carry out site surveys when required and produce or update survey drawings.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients on drawing coordination, technical queries, and model updates.
• Maintain drawing registers, manage incoming drawings/models, and ensure outputs meet quality and company standards prior to sign-off.
• Apply value engineering, support continuous improvement and innovation, and demonstrate strong health, safety, and environmental awareness at design stage.

• Strong experience using AutoCAD 2D and REVIT (BIM / 3D Modelling)
• Background in HVAC, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering
• Knowledge of ductwork, pipework, and associated industry standards
• Experience producing fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and technical details
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Eligible to work in the UK
