Interim Management Accountant

🟡 Salary up to £50,000 p.a. dependent on experience

🟡 Onsite in Bromsgrove, Worcs; with some flexibility to WFH 1 day per week

We are delighted to be partnering with a fashion-forward, £18m t/o business, who distribute across the UK and internationally, to appoint an interim Management Accountant to cover maternity leave for 6-8 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant, growing business as a key member of their close-knit & supportive finance team.

Key duties will include:

• Preparation of the month end closing and production of monthly Management Information alongside and for review by the Financial Controller.
• Monthly review and reporting of consignment stock to Directors and Account Managers
• Month end reporting for customer groups and other key accounts
• Responsible for managing accounts payables, receivable and supplier/customer account administration and management
• Preparation of monthly accruals & prepayments
• Reconciliation and posting transactions of all company credit cards
• Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Management and support to Assistant Management Accountant
• Support to other teams across the business on a day to day basis

In order to be considered, you need to have significant recent Management Accountancy experience, and be qualified of close to qualifying CIMA / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent qualification / experience). You must be confident with both day-to-day transactional and month end processes, and be happy to work cohesively as a team player to provide cross coverage and support to colleagues when needed.
