Job Title: Finance Administrator

Salary: £9,403 - £10,022 per annum (term-time only)

Hours: 15

Location: Dodford First School

The post holder will:

• lead the school’s financial planning, budgeting and reporting, working closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure effective use of resources
• manage accounting and finance systems
• prepare statutory returns and reports
• support payroll and audit processes
• prepare for finance committee meetings
• provide essential administrative and operational support
• ensure compliance with financial controls, school policies, and health and safety requirements
• contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the school

• highly organised professional
• experience with accounting and finance systems
• ability to prepare statutory returns and reports
• experience supporting payroll and audit processes
• awareness of financial controls, school policies, and health and safety requirements

• Disclosure Barring Service (DBS): This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
