Finance Manager

Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing SME business. This is a brand new role for the company due to the growth they have experienced.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.

• Manage cash flow forecasting, monitoring performance and highlighting potential risks.

• Oversee month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Process monthly payroll and ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory reporting.

• Prepare and submit the Group VAT return.

• Support budgeting and forecasting, working closely with budget holders to understand performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain financial and operational KPIs, providing clear commercial insight to non-finance stakeholders.

• Drive improvements across finance processes, reporting and automation.

• Support the statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors.

• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
