Cleaner, Cleaning Services

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromsgrove to assist with the appointment of a Cleaner on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 12.85 - 16.23 per hour

Hours per week: 28

Summary:

The Cleanerwill contribute to the smooth operation of the Extra Care Housing Scheme by supporting the delivery of non-regulated domestic and environmental services maintaining high standards of health and safety cleanliness and customer service whilst promoting the wellbeing and independence of residents through positive day-to-day interactions and the prompt reporting of concerns to the management team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all cleaning duties are performed to the required standard and in accordance with agreed cleaning schedules.
• Maintain communal areas facilities and external areas to a safe clean and welcoming standard.
• Work independently to agreed schedules with minimum supervision.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH legislation and ensure the safe use storage and disposal of cleaning products and equipment.
• Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Replenish consumables and report stock shortages in a timely manner.

Essentials:

• An operational knowledge and experience of cleaning duties.
• The ability to handle challenging workload.
• Good communication skills
