  • Salary: £33,699 - £41,771 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Hours: 1 x 30, 2 x 37 hours

Overview

We are looking for 3 qualified Social Workers to work with people in a person‑centred way enabling them to be supported in their local community. We are happy to accept applications from AYSE Social Workers.

Responsibilities
  • Work with people living in the Bromsgrove Area and surrounding villages.
  • Support people to remain in their own homes and maintain their independence.
  • Complete assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014.
  • Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interests Decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Complete safeguarding enquiries in partnership with the WCC Safeguarding team in line with the Care Act 2014.
  • Work in partnership with health, housing, police and other community organisations within the Bromsgrove Area to support the people we work with.
  • Work within a diverse and experienced Social Work Team; supportive and friendly team with a mixture of Social Workers and Social Care Workers.
  • Learn and teach; students often present; monthly reflective sessions with speakers to discuss relevant topics.
  • Weekly huddles where the team discuss cases and support each other in finding solutions and information to enable them to offer the support people need.
  • Encourage Social Workers and Social Care Workers to develop areas of interest or expertise; may become a Champion for areas such as Direct Payments or a Practice Educator.
Qualifications

Qualified Social Workers (ASW). AYSE Social Workers are also welcome.
