Rates of Pay:
Days (06:00 - 18:00) - £17.50 per hour Nights (18:00 - 06:00) - £18.50 per hour Saturday - £20.00 per hour Sunday - £21.50 per hour Shift Pattern:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will work:
Completing refrigerated deliveries with a maximum of three store deliveries per shift Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance requirements Assisting with loading and unloading where required Completing deliveries with no handball involved Essential

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category CE Licence A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes A valid Driver CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and timekeeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable
