• Permanent job opening- due to unprecedented department growth in Southern Westchester County & the Bronx
• Join 55 + faculty members/ 45 clinicians and 11 laboratory scientists in Division of Hematology / Oncology
• Academic Surgical Pathologist positions at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor level to join a staff of 25 Surgical Pathologists.
• Subspecialty Fellowship training in GI/Liver Pathology required.
• Join a division of Surgical Pathology that practices a "hybrid" model of subspecialty sign-out which allows for a combination of 2 or more subspecialties.
• The Department receives approximately 66,000 surgical pathology specimens/year.
• Ideal candidates have solid diagnostic skills, enthusiasm for teaching and strong communication abilities; responsibilities include clinical services in surgical pathology, interactions with clinicians and multidisciplinary patient care teams, involvement in the residency training program and medical student education and other activities
• Must be (true) Board Eligible, prefer Board Certified

• Competitive base salary range $250-$375k DOE
