An academic hospital in the Greater New York City area is seeking a Hospitalist for a Monday through Friday teaching role. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, academic environment while mentoring and educating residents. Recent graduates completing residency within the next 12 months are highly encouraged to apply, making this an ideal role for those starting their academic hospitalist career.

Job Description:

Compensation : $190000 - $210000 Job  : 38400

Job Function:

• Openings due to expansion at a growing institution.
• Strong academic environment with medical students, externs and residency program, residency teaching will be an essential part of the role.
• Schedule is Mon-Fri 8-4/9-5 with no evenings or overnights.
• Closed ICU with no codes (intensivists manage) and no procedures.
• Receive extra compensation for any weekends or holiday time.

Job Requirements:

• Active NY License.
• Residency Training in Internal Medicine.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification Required.
