Position: Physician / Neurology / New York / Permanent / Neurologist (Part-time) Job
A health services organization in New York City is actively seeking a new Board Certified Neurologist to join their growing team in the Bronx on a Part-time basis. Responsibilities:
The Neurologist will be responsible for:
Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patients history, examining them, and conducting neurological tests Counseling patients on neurological disorders and their background Ordering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies Prescribing and/or administering treatment and medication Monitoring the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication Ordering supportive care services for patients Participating in neuroscience research activities.

Acting as a liaison with medical professionals in the community and hospitals Keeping up-to-date with neurological developments, treatments, and medication Performing specialized treatments such as EMGs

Qualifications:

3+ years of specialty training experience in an accredited Neurology Residency program;1+ year of Neurology experience Licensed to practice in the State of New York Board Certified in Neurology Accreditation with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) Federal DEA license Solid counseling and listening skills Practical and diagnostic skills Management and leadership skills Your privacy is important to us.
