Position Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing, administering, and imaging radioactive pharmaceuticals used in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. This role involves operating specialized imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards.
Job Duties:
- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and safety protocols
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures using gamma cameras, PET, and SPECT equipment
- Position patients accurately and explain procedures to ensure comfort, cooperation, and safety
Note:
2 years of NMT Experience
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years
- Certifications: BLS AHA, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB
