Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Travel PACU Registered Nurse to join a Surgical Care Center in the Bronx, NY. The PACU RN is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care while maintaining professional nursing standards in alignment with the American Nurses Association and organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care in the PACU setting

• Maintain clinical competence and adherence to professional nursing standards

• Participate in performance improvement and research activities as applicable

• Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication skills

• Support the mission, vision, and values of the medical center and Surgical Care Center

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN license (required at submission)

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience

• Med/Surg experience required

• Critical Care experience highly preferred
