Interventional Radiology RN - 12 Hour Nights Location

Bronx, NY

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour shifts, with start times at either 7 AM or 7 PM. The schedule includes two 15-minute breaks and a one-hour lunch break.

The Interventional Radiology (IR) RN will be integral in managing patient care through all phases of interventional procedures. The role involves pre-operative assessments, IV insertions, and patient monitoring throughout procedures. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.

• Conduct assessments and document patient care per the Radiology Flowsheet.
• Manage patient care in the pre, intra, and post-operative phases.
• Communicate effectively with the physician and mid-level providers regarding the patient's care plan.
• Perform IV insertions and prepare patients for CT procedures.
• Participate in various interventional procedures including complex vascular interventions and biopsies.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required; PALS certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in IV starts and patient monitoring is essential.
• Open to first-time travelers, but critical care experience is a plus.
