Registered Nurse (RN) – Residential Programs (Bronx)

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week (flexible)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

Setting: Residential / Community-Based

Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Residential Nursing team in the Bronx. These full-time, temp-to-perm positions offer meaningful work in supportive group home environments serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Multiple openings are available, including a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible options across various Bronx locations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee medical care for assigned residents

• Conduct ongoing health assessments, monitor chronic conditions, and address acute needs

• Document all findings and follow up on care plans and treatment outcomes

• Communicate regularly with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams

• Manage hospitalizations, emergency visits, and follow-up care

• Supervise AMAPs and LPNs in medication administration and treatment protocols

• Provide AMAP training, certification, and re-certification as needed

• Develop and update individualized nursing care plans and protocols

• Attend interdisciplinary and management meetings to discuss residents’ health needs

Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN license required

• Current CPR certification (training available if needed)

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and clinical assessment skills

• Valid NY or Tri-State Driver’s License preferred
