Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)-Brook Park
Welcome to REACH Behavioral Health! We are an accredited mental health agency with locations throughout Northeast Ohio. We believe through empathic, evidenced-based therapy, we can positively impact the lives of our clients.
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a crucial role in providing direct support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. This position involves implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT will work closely with clients to promote positive behavior changes and enhance their quality of life through structured behavioral therapy.
Duties
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs.Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Skills
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices.Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.Familiarity with medical terminology related to patient care and behavioral therapy.Ability to create and implement effective care plans based on individual assessments.Strong skills in medical documentation and record keeping.Experience working with children in a therapeutic or educational setting is preferred.Excellent communication skills for educating clients, families, and team members.Ability to adapt strategies based on client needs and progress.This role is essential for fostering positive outcomes for clients through dedicated support and professional expertise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
