We are actively hiring for the position of Small Bindery Operator for our plant in Brook Park, OH

Duties & Responsibilities

• Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day.
• Determine what size hole the job will require according to the gang sheet.
• Set up the drill hole machine and observe while running, to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate hole is drilled on the job.
• Inspect the hole drilled on the job to ensure accuracy and quality before packing in the designated box.
• Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs.
• Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of packing experience.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Ability to safely use hand/power tools.
• Ability to multitask with changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.
