Tooling Technician [CNC exp. req.] Description

Our client, a respected manufacturing company, is seeking a Tooling Technician who is eager to learn, grow, and develop hands-on technical expertise. In this role, you’ll work closely with an experienced lead technician, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of tooling – from troubleshooting and repairing to reworking and maintaining dies and tools that keep production running efficiently. This is an
excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a solid foundation in tool and die mechanics while working on a variety of projects
. You won’t be stuck doing the same task every day; instead, you’ll develop versatility and a broad skill set that sets you up for long-term growth.

• Inspect, repair, rework, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and molds
• Perform manual machining (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
• Machine new components to meet manufacturing specifications
• Troubleshoot tooling and machine issues
• Document tool modifications, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Work with engineering, QA, production, and R&D teams to provide solutions
• Maintain clean and organized work area and follow all HSE standards
• Operate forklifts and use hand/power tools as required

• 3+ years of manual or CNC machinist equipment experience required
• Strong blueprint and production spec reading skills required
• Capable of working to tolerances of +/- .02" required
