Field Service Technician

This is a full-time first shift position (Monday – Friday) 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

As an Field Service Technician of Package Pump Stations, you will be responsible for performing pump station maintenance and repair visits, overseeing installations on project sites, and growing sales leads via site visits and relationship building. This position reports to the Field Service Manager.

• Perform installation and repair of pump installations that Excel Fluid Group is responsible for as required.
• Oversee installation of Excel Fluid Group Pump Stations on project sites ensuring high quality service and successful execution of finished project.
• Complete on-site installations, start up, and reporting as required for site locations, tasks, or jobs.
• Troubleshoot, repair and test pumps or mechanical items.
• Repair piping and valves in package pump stations.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections on sanitary lift stations.
• Open wet well and clean float free of debris, test floats for auto operation and test alarm float for audible alarm and alarm light.
• Gather asset information from stations as necessary.
• Identify deficiencies in station components and control panel during maintenance visits.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems/control panels.
• Communicate with both internal and external customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with OSHA and all other required safety procedures/documentation.
• Comply with company policies and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure).
• Work in a neat and orderly manner.
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory or client related certification.
• Other duties as assigned

• Valid driving license required
• A working mechanical knowledge of lift stations & electrical control panels
• Detailed oriented and multitasking
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Team player
• Able to travel

• Comfortable working in confined space
• Working at heights
• Lift and carry equipment weighing 50 pounds +
