Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented

Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and finance.

• Process high-volume invoices with accuracy, including 3-way matching (PO, packing slip, invoice)
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with purchasing and receiving
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and AP reporting
• Maintain vendor records, ensure timely payments, and research outstanding issues
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to help streamline AP workflow
• Communicate regularly with internal teams on invoice status and approvals

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
• Strong understanding of 3-way match and inventory-related AP
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar)
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables a plus!)
• A team-oriented, dependable, and proactive approach
