Brookfield High School is seeking a skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our academic team.

We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering student growth, both academically and socially, within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

• Create a structured and engaging classroom environment that encourages student learning and development.
• Deliver instruction in literature, writing, and language arts that aligns with curriculum standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to support student achievement and school initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
• Maintain classroom management while adhering to school policies and procedures.
• Complete all required administrative duties, including grading and reporting on student performance.

• Valid Connecticut English (015) certification.
• Experience teaching at the high school level preferred and must be comfortable with AP Language and Composition level coursework.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment.
• Dedication to providing a positive and meaningful learning experience for students.
