Brookfield Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Middle School Girls Track Coach to join our dynamic coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the technical aspects of track and field, with the ability to lead and inspire student‑athletes. This individual will work closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement training strategies, ensuring the continued success and growth of the team.

• Develop and deliver skill‑building training programs for middle school girls track athletes.
• Coordinate practice schedules, warm‑up routines and conditioning drills.
• Assist in recruiting and retention of student‑athletes and maintain positive relationships with parents.
• Monitor athlete safety, provide first‑aid support, and manage concussion protocols.
• Collaborate with the Head Coach and support staff to set team goals and evaluate performance.
• Maintain accurate records of athlete progress, injuries, and training logs.

• Must hold a valid CT Coaching Certificate (#500).
• Must possess current 1st Aid/CPR Certification and Concussion Module certification.
• Previous successful coaching experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with athletes, parents, and coaching staff.
• Passion for the sport and for helping students reach their full potential.
