Role Overview: As a Patient Engagement Specialist on our Pilot Team, you will manage administrative workflows and directly engage with patients to ensure they have a smooth, supportive experience throughout their ROMTech rehabilitation journey. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes the patient experience and pilot program success. You will focus on getting patients started successfully, ensuring they feel supported, and providing a tech-savvy approach to their rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call patients to confirm information, educate them on the program, and schedule onboarding.
  • Track patient progress in EMR/CRM systems (Elation, Thorough Care, Pipedrive).
  • Maintain detailed documentation and notes for every patient interaction.
  • Support pilot program operations and identify opportunities to improve workflows. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure device shipments and patient readiness.
  • Ensure patients have a positive experience and feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, patient services, or customer support.
  • Experience in chronic care management is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy with comfort using multiple digital tools and platforms.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfort using EMR/CRM systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive health information professionally.
  • Experience with rehab, orthopedics, or post-surgical patients, preferred.
  • Familiarity with remote patient monitoring or home therapy programs preferred.
  • Experience supporting pilot programs or startups preferred.
