Job SummaryWe’re seeking an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter to join our client’s growing team in Danbury, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial or residential plumbing experience. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial settings. The plumbing technician will work closely with other trades on construction sites and must be able to perform heavy lifting and operate various tools safely.
This position will not be doing attic work, but will be working in a clean room environment.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required for various plumbing projects.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in potentially hazardous environments.
- Assist with HVAC installations as needed, demonstrating versatility in maintenance person skills.
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Experience working on construction sites is beneficial.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
- Minimum 4 years experience.
