Purchasing Manager

We are assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Purchasing Manager search in the Brookfield, WI area.

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr

• Lead the purchasing department, managing two buyers and overseeing procurement operations across two facilities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and optimize cost savings.
• Analyze cost drivers and market trends to inform purchasing decisions, ensuring efficient procurement that supports operational needs.
• Monitor inventory levels to guarantee timely fulfillment of customer orders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align purchasing strategies with demand forecasts.

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management, with a strong track record in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills to assess cost drivers, market trends, and inventory levels, ensuring strategic decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
