Senior Quality Engineer

STS Technical Services is actively hiring a Senior Quality Engineer in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

The Senior Quality Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing inspection processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring every product meets or exceeds customer expectations. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for process optimization.

• Lead inspection and testing of production parts and services
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory standards (AS9100D)
• Prepare and manage inspection documentation for conformance and shipment
• Organize inspection workflows to meet delivery deadlines
• Train and guide inspection personnel on tools, gauges, and methodologies
• Track and validate inspection checkpoints throughout production
• Contain and evaluate non-conforming products; lead customer reviews for deviations
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions
• Develop and execute annual continuous improvement goals

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or quality management
• 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience with leadership responsibilities
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards
• Proficiency in inspection tools, statistical analysis, and quality software
• Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lead Auditor preferred
• Detail-oriented mindset with a drive for process optimization
