Engineering Project Manager

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a well-established manufacturing client to bring on a Project Manager. This individual will be a key player in managing all aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful delivery. This is a hands-on role involving every stage of the project lifecycle, from design and estimating to final delivery and customer communication. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in capital goods or machine design.

Salary Range
: $80k-$90k annually (flexible depending on experience)

• Oversee all project stages, from initial concept to final delivery.
• Direct the project team to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Review and approve designs and product specifications for engineering integrity.
• Provide technical support and product details to the sales team.
• Coordinate with internal and external manufacturing and supply sources.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting.
• Interface with the service department for equipment installation and repair.
• Communicate directly with customers to understand their needs and provide project updates.
• Ensure all safety and work rules and regulations are followed.

• A minimum of five years of project management experience, preferably in capital goods, machine design, or control systems.
• Proven experience managing project teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Auto Desk/Auto Cad and Inventor solid modeling software is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to various groups.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
