Fitter/Fabricator - 1st Shift

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $26 - $30/hour (Based on experience)

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter/Fabricator to join our team on 1st shift. In this role, you'll be responsible for reading blueprints, fitting components, and performing MIG welding to assemble high-quality products. This is a great opportunity for individuals who take pride in precision fabrication and enjoy working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding and fabrication requirements
• Lay out, align, and fit components according to specifications, using blueprints, BOMs, and verbal instructions
• Check parts for accuracy, fit, and clearance
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld components in preparation for final MIG welding
• Select appropriate tools and plan assembly layout for welding tasks
• Set up welding machines based on project requirements
• Use a variety of hand and power tools as needed
• Perform visual inspections and provide feedback on quality to prevent defects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; return tools and equipment after use
• Assist with tasks in other departments as needed to support workflow

• Proven experience in fitting/fabrication and MIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and technical drawings
• Skilled in using various hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
