Claims Customer Service Representative

Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive client in the Brookhaven area of Atlanta, GA in their search for a Claims Customer Service Representative
. This individual is the main point of contact in charge of providing support to policy holders and providers which includes answering questions related to claims, benefits and policy provisions. Only candidates who live in the Atlanta metropolitan area will be considered since in-office work is required.

• Must have 2+ years of customer service experience in high-volume phone setting.
• Must possess excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills in addition to an empathetic and patient demeanor.
• Must be able to resolve customer issues within a single call, whenever possible.
• Must possess a thorough understanding of healthcare and the insurance claim process, especially Medicare Supplement insurance policies.
• Must be comfortable working in multiple systems to update customer information and to record transaction details.
