The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide a best-in-class pre-boarding and onboarding experience to pre-hires and new employees. This role will provide support for all pre-employment processes within Workday HCM Core. Additionally, this role will serve as an ambassador to new employees on their first-year employment journey.
Experience- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Experience in recruitment and/or onboarding specialist role
- Experience in employee engagement or employee experience
- Working knowledge of Workday
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- No professional certifications required
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving/resolution and follow-up skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment
- Works to identify opportunities for process improvement and makes recommendations
- Exceptional organizational and project planning skills
- Strong computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel
- Must be data savvy with solid analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Facilitate day to day pre-boarding experience for new hires, using Workday HCM Core.
- Schedule pre-employment health-screening and security appointments and manage pre-hire background screening and clearance process.
- Recommend system and process improvements to current pre-boarding and onboarding processes to provide high quality services to the organization.
- Manage pre-hire communication and answer questions to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Communicate regularly with hiring managers to assist with new hire onboarding experience.
- Partner closely with Learning and Clinical Learning teams to ensure first day experience is exceptional.
- Manage communication for new employee orientation and onboarding journey.
- Assist in the design, planning and implementation of new employee engagement events and activities.
- Conduct outreach to new employees to foster dialogue about their employee journey and sense of belonging.
- Own pre-boarding process documentation to ensure all processes are up-to-date and recorded in system of record.
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and other accrediting bodies.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
