$65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Spherion in Sioux Falls is looking for an experienced Client Manager to provide controller-level services to clients and grow the local market in Brookings, SD on behalf of a local client. This position will insure quality of client services by performing reviews of staff work. Monitor client deliverables and maintain consistent communication with clients. Provide coaching to clients and Company team members related to business and accounting best practices.

Salary: $65-70k + Full benefits. Client is willing to negotiate salary for the right experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage team deliverables related to clients and internal systems 50%
  • Provide a fun and promote a positive attitude to clients and team members
  • Review the work of team members and provided feedback to ensure clients receive the highest quality work with communication from staff along the way
  • Coach other staff members, especially new staff on The Company Way and our Culture Statements
  • Meet with clients as needed and provide financial reports as well as cash flow analysis using company tools
  • Be available for client one-off requests and questions
  • Review monthly invoices for services provided by you and your fellow team members. Communicate scope of work changes and resolve issues
  • Collect on past due clients whenever they get behind
  • Brand development and sales in the local market
  • Develop Relationships with service clubs and business leaders within a 30-mile radius of your location
  • Organize and implement local marketing efforts to raise community awareness of Company's Services
  • Work with Company's Business Development staff to meet with and close new clients

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting
  • 5+ years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Small business accounting software (Quick Books Desktop, Quick Books Online)
  • Google Suite, Zoom, QB Time
  • Ability to be self-directed and perform to a high standard
  • Understanding of mathematical concepts in a business environment
  • Communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Organization and planning skills
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment
