Position Summary
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for selling services using organizational and customer knowledge to influence and assist customers in applying the services to their needs resulting in revenue generation for Counterpart, Inc.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Reaches established sales quotas and revenue goals.
- Identifies potential customers in industries that require services that Counterpart provides.
- Initiates meetings with potential and existing customers to discuss their business needs and how these needs would be best met through Counterpart, Inc.
- Attends trade shows/conferences that relate to our industry, network through organizations and clubs.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest industry trends and technical developments on metal fabrication and applications that affect our key markets.
- Establishes and maintains positive customer relationships through contact in person, by phone, and electronically such as e‑mail.
- Ensures the closing of deals and confirms contracts.
- Communicates with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve problems with products and services, answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
- Quotes prices, credit terms and other bid specifications.
- Negotiates prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
- Prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders for processing.
- Maintain S&OP (Forecast Sales Pipeline)
- Manages sales department and sales employees.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
