The Occupational Therapist’s (OT) overall responsibility is to provide care to the resident at the highest level.
Position InformationLocation: Brookline, MA
Facility: Care One at Brookline
Employment Type: Part Time with Benefits & Per Diem
Schedule: Minimum $38.00 – Max $65.00 per hour
Practice Setting: Short Term Rehab and Long-Term Care
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
- Evaluates residents’ needs and establishes effective and efficient treatment plans for the resident(s) assigned.
- Manages and coordinates the supervision of treatment plans with all staff and other disciplines as indicated.
- Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
- Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
- Participates in all centers directed processes and services.
- Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
- Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
- Participates in in‑service training programs as requested.
- May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.
- Master's degree in occupational therapy.
- Current and active Occupational Therapist license within the state of operations.
- Preferred: experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
- Preferred: knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
