• Provide support to healthcare providers and nursing staff in delivering quality patient care
• Room patients, manage patient flow, and collect necessary medical information
• Administer medications and assist with procedures as delegated
• Coordinate lab and imaging results, notifying providers of any abnormalities
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and report any issues or changes in patient conditions

• Must be 18 years of age with the necessary education and/or experience
• Non-certified applicants must have graduated from an accredited school with a clinical externship if they have less than six months of Medical Assistant experience
• Current BLS certification from an accredited organization or in-house training within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently
• Experience and knowledge needed to meet required competencies as listed in the job description

• Previous Medical Assistant experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants
