Program / Project Manager, Healthcare Management
The Symptom Management program at Dana-Farber seeks to re-engineer how Dana-Farber provides care for the side effects of cancer treatment across clinical practice locations. The Program Manager, Symptom Management will lead program strategy and governance and execute deliverables that improve how doctors and nurses work. Reporting to the Senior Director, New Product Development, the Program Manager will be versed in clinical operations and technology solution development and will be an integral player in meaningfully improving patient care at Dana-Farber and beyond.

- Oversee highly complex, high-impact projects critical to strategic objectives, involving multiple departments and external partners.
- Lead strategic decision-making processes with full accountability for project outcomes and resource management.
- Engage with executive leadership to drive project success and foster collaboration across the organization.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate large-scale projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives and align quality objectives with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic initiatives into detailed project plans aligned with institutional priorities and long-term goals.
- Mentor and guide project teams, promoting professional development and a culture of excellence.
- Extensive experience in project management, proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, focused on strategic thinking and innovation.
- Proficiency in project management software and templates, strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, healthcare, or a related field.
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibility, including at least six (6) years in project management or comparable roles.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
