Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Brookline Arts Center (BAC), a community visual arts center in a historic firehouse in Brookline, is looking for a creative, community-minded marketer and designer to help tell BAC's story. Every week our studios fill with kids, teens, and adults making art, from first-time painters to working artists. We want more people across Brookline and Greater Boston to find their way to our classes, workshops, exhibitions, and summer camp.

The ideal candidate brings fresh ideas, a strong design eye, and real experience planning and running marketing campaigns. You'll work closely with our Director to shape ideas and turn them into finished work across Instagram, Facebook, email, our website, print, and the local community. You write in a warm, upbeat voice that gets people excited to sign up, and you love seeing a campaign through from first idea to full class.

This role is a great fit for a self-starter who enjoys juggling several projects with a small, close-knit team.

This is a hybrid, part-time position of about 24 hours a week over three consistent weekdays, with up to 30 hours in peak weeks. You'll be onsite in Brookline 1-2 days a week, more during your first two weeks. The role starts in early November as a 6-month position (through April 2027), with a check-in at 3 months and potential to grow into a longer-term role depending on BAC's needs and budget.
