Clear Flour Bakery is a small, family owned and operated bakery specializing in the authentic breads and pastries of Italy, France and Germany since 1982. Located on a neighborhood street in Brookline, it was the first bakery to introduce artisan bread baking to the Boston area. Our award-winning bread and pastry is made from scratch daily by a highly skilled staff committed to preserving the art and craft of traditional baking.

We pride ourselves on providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and connecting our community to good food and the people who make it.

Our ideal candidate is someone who loves coffee, good food, and is passionate about hospitality.

Starting from $20.00 / hour (we do not accept tips)

You will:

• Deliver impeccable hospitality to our guests and your fellow teammates.
• Craft made-to-order drinks ranging from espresso beverages to tea lattes!
• Work with your team to ‘dial in’ and serve a selection of delicious coffees in a variety of different brewing methods including but not limited to: espresso and drip coffee.
• Stay knowledgeable about current coffee and food offerings through tastings, cuppings, and information provided to you by your manager.
• Stock merchandise and sell retail items
  . You must be knowledgeable enough about these items to answer customer questions and offer suggestions.
• Support your team in keeping the cafe running smoothly and beautifully. These tasks may vary but include washing dishes, maintaining the cafe through sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning and organizing condiment stations, and taking out trash. Nobody is exempt from any job at Clear Flour!

• Eligible to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older

Requirements:

• Prior barista experience is strongly preferred
• Weekend availability is a must
• Schedule flexibility is preferred
