Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an elementary center-based program in Brooklyn Center, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a small caseload of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) while receiving paraprofessional support and collaborating with a strong educational team.

Schedule:

40 hours per week Days:
Monday-Friday Campus Assignment: 1 campus

Full-Time Classroom Information Elementary center-based special education program K-3 classroom (current students are all in 2nd grade) Primary population:
Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Small caseload of approximately 4-8 students Paraprofessional support provided

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student IEP goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, families, and school staff.
• Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with special education regulations.
• Create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

• Valid Minnesota teaching license through PELSB required.
• Special Education licensure required.
• Experience working with students with ASD preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
