Windows System Administrator​/PowerShell

We are seeking a Windows System Administrator with strong Power Shell scripting and automation, as well as virtualization skills. This role plays a pivotal part in the Information Systems team, ensuring the performance and secure operation of business productivity platforms.

Hybrid; 2 days in the office, three remote. 60 days in the office during the onboarding and training period – can work out of any of the following office locations:

• Performs daily monitoring of server systems, analyzing system and application logs, and ensuring the successful execution of automated tasks.
• Automate routine maintenance tasks using Power Shell scripts or other automation tools.
• Install, deploy, and optimize hardware configurations, server operating systems, and supporting applications.
• Generate appropriate documentation of system configurations and maintenance procedures.
• Provides input in planning and managing IT product and service development initiatives.
• Remain abreast of emerging technologies and platforms, evaluating their potential integration into server systems.
• Implement and oversee the integration of new technologies into existing computing environments as needed.
• Assists with the formulation of IS policies, procedures, and performance management protocols.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues promptly.
• Ensure timely software updates with the latest security patches, in compliance with company policy.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in IS/IT and relevant business/industry roles.
• Experience with Power Shell scripting beyond basic commands.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016+ platforms.
• Experience with Virtualization and Cloud Technologies such as Hyper-V, VMWare, and Azure.
• Proven ability to learn and become proficient with new technologies.
