The Role

We are seeking a Machinist to support our fluid dispensing equipment business. This on‑site position in Brooklyn Center, MN is for local candidates only.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and machining parameters, interpreting GD&T.
  • Plan stock inventory and manage ordering and receipt of materials.
  • Inspect finished parts for flaws and defects.
  • Program and set up mills and lathes, including zeroing, tool registers, and offsets.
  • Load feed mechanisms and verify settings by measuring dimensions.
  • Maintain specifications and perform drilling, grooving, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
  • Adhere to quality assurance procedures and safety regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to support company objectives and customer expectations.

Experience And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Trade School Certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years recent machining experience highly preferred.
  • Conceptual skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
  • Functional and technical background, preferably with experience in fluids/hydraulics, controls, instrumentation, tooling, and hand‑eye coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills using sound judgment.
  • Self‑driven with the ability to work independently and within a team.
