Meals on Wheels Community Manager
Company:

Full Time, Exempt
Salary: $52,000 - $55,000 annually, Commensurate with Experience
Summary:
This position establishes and grows relationships with program participants, volunteers, and other community stakeholders. CEAP Meals on Wheels is “more than a meal” and this position helps fulfill this promise to our community by supporting health, friendship, and joy for our homebound neighbors.
- Participate as a member of the CEAP team in fulfilling the overall mission of the agency.
- Administer intake process with all Meals on Wheels program participants to ensure each neighbor is nourished and cared for through the program options best suited to their unique needs.
- Determine utilization of the Title III subsidy funds for appropriate clients. Assist with monthly client billing, including follow-up, to support long-term sustainability of the program and grow program capacity.
- Administer a follow up process and home visitation as required by contracts or deemed appropriate, assist clients in food support applications, and connect participants with other community resources.
- Maintain on-site health standards for the safety and wellness of the CEAP community.
- Maintain all necessary documentation on participants, program data and outcomes, demographics, and other statistics required for reporting purposes and according to agency procedures.
- Participate in program planning and evaluation.
- Supervise and train volunteers involved in the preparation and delivery of meals in collaboration with the Meals on Wheels Operations Coordinator. Participate in volunteer recruitment activities to grow Team CEAP!
- Serve as a representative and ambassador for CEAP in the community at large.
- Assist in the development of the program’s yearly budget.
- Work in partnership with Meals on Wheels Operations Coordinator to coordinate daily meal preparation and delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or CEAP management.
- Applicable education or work experience in food service or human services.
- Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, active listening and excellent communication skills.
- Must be able and excited to work with a diverse community.
- Must be computer literate, and willing to learn new technology needed for the program.
- Must be self-directed and detail oriented.
- Must be committed to joining with others to find constructive ways to eliminate racism, inequality, poverty and alienation in our community.
- Must have a valid MN Driver’s License a clean driving record.
