Hmong Dance Coach

Position Summary

The Hmong Dance Coach is responsible for leading, organizing, and developing the Hmong Dance program in collaboration with fellow dance coaches. The coach will foster student‑athletes’ growth through skill development, teamwork, performance experiences, and academic accountability.

• Plan and lead dance practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and performing.
• Supervise all practices and performances.
• Promote positive teamwork and the school’s values on and off the dance floor.
• Communicate with families, athletic directors, and school leadership regarding schedules, expectations, and dancers’ progress.
• Ensure student safety and maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
• Track attendance, participation, and dance performance needs.

• Prior Hmong dance coaching or performance experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering teamwork, discipline, and student development.

This position receives a stipend of $25/hour
