Quoting Specialist (Temporary Position) – Biomerics – Brooklyn Park, MN

• Evaluate and prepare incoming requests for quotes for determining the feasibility of design and manufacturing, provide pricing information including external costs.
• Engage with multiple teams at once to take raw data (BOM costs, labor estimates, outside services, etc.) and put it into quote format for current and prospective customers.
• Quote tracking and sales support.
• Work collectively and respectfully with other team members. Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Presents prepared estimate of costs for internal review and then formally presents to customers in detailed form.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, evaluating, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
• Work in conjunction with Supply Chain to ensure cost effective supplier and component selection.
• Partner with engineers on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

• Two (2) years' experience writing and formatting quotes for a manufacturing facility preferably in Medical Device.
• Ability to understand complex manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Highly skilled in technical writing with Advanced Excel experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in an effective manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong demonstrated commitment to teamwork.

$30‑40 per hour
