- Senior Research Engineer focused on developing and applying Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models to improve understanding of fluid flow and heat transfer in 3M's materials, processes, and energy systems.
- leading CFD model development,
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation via Multiphysics simulations,
- supporting customer engagements with complex fluid dynamics challenges,
- contributing to intellectual property development.
- Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field;
- at least 3 years of experience in CFD and engineering environments, preferably with knowledge of material handling, energy transport, and HPC.
Skills:
- proficiency in Python,
- experience with Machine Learning and FSI models,
- global teamwork experience.
- application in materials handling, energy systems, and process optimization within an industrial setting.
