ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst – CSIRT, you’ll help lead a team in responding to information security events and incidents across the Target environment. You will collaborate, problem‑solve, and address complex problems within a 24/7 Cyber Fusion Center. You’ll implement new processes and procedures, monitor SIEM and logging environments for security events, assist in training analysts, maintain threat awareness, respond to incident requests, and conduct incident investigations and reporting.
You’ll also participate in Cyber Hunt activities.
This is a shift position on Shift 4 within CSIRT.
Working hours:
Wednesday – Saturday, 12:30 pm – 10:30 pm CT.
- 2-year degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years’ direct experience with Security Operations, Incident Response, or Digital Forensics
- Security certification (e.g. GCFA, GREM, OSCP)
- Thorough understanding of intermediate to advanced security and network concepts
- Experience with host and network‑based security tools
- Experience with network monitoring in a SOC environment
- Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms
- Demonstrated analytical expertise, attention to detail, critical thinking, and adaptive learning
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop working business relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Hybrid/Flex:
The core role is performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location and virtually, depending on daily tasks.
