Production Associate - 1st Shift at Carboline
Responsibilities/Tasks- Monitor machinery used in the production process and assist machine operators.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards, BOM, and test.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using non-motorized equipment.
- Stop machines when malfunctions occur, clear jams, and report unresolved malfunctions to a machine operator, lead, maintenance, and then management.
- Secure finished packaged items by gluing, stapling, wrapping, taping, or attaching fastener.
- Mark or tag identification on parts.
- Load and unload materials, product, or packaging from machines, containers, conveyors, and conveyances.
- Help team members by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.
- Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) per requirements. May require recording information such as weight, count, time, scrap and date packaged.
- Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels to ensure all shifts requirements are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person.
- Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality.
- Learn all manual tasks performed within the department.
- Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures and following department specific quality control processes and procedures.

- Operation Monitoring — Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Quality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Operation and Control — Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions.
- Troubleshooting — Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions.
- Equipment Maintenance — Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Controlling Machines and Processes — Operating machines or processes using control mechanisms or manual actions.
- Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material — Inspecting to identify defects or problems.
- Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings — Reviewing information to detect problems.
- Performing General Physical Activities — Physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, walking, and handling materials.
- Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms to move materials and items.
- Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment — Servicing machines and equipment that operate on mechanical principles.

Work Location:
On-site. Schedule and benefits details are provided as part of the employment terms. This role is full-time and may include a non-mandatory Friday or expanded hours as described by the company.
