Wilsonart is looking for a Warehouse Assistant I to replenish finished goods inventory, fill customer orders, inspect and pack materials, and support departmental operations.

• Receive materials from manufacturing facilities and vendors.
• Check and place materials in the correct bin.
• Verify material against the manifest and report discrepancies.
• Inform supervisor and photograph all defective materials.
• Cut down oversized laminate to fill pending orders.
• Interpret, process, and pack orders.
• Perform total skid count for loads.
• Assist the needs of the customer.

• Learn to use computers for inventory checks.
• Understand and inventory materials.
• Apply packing techniques.
• Follow proper material handling techniques.
• Follow directions and work independently.
• Operate a lift truck.
• Read and understand customer orders.
• Operate a saw.
• Enter data at an acceptable speed.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

1+ years of relevant warehouse experience.

Continuous physical exertion required, such as walking, pushing, climbing, and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (>50 lbs).
