Operations
Role OverviewAs a Logistics Coordinator (Grief Analyst), your role is pivotal to our team. You will safely and accurately track grief parts, update their status, facilitate speedy transfer to our teams, and communicate and escalate issues as needed to support uninterrupted production of assembly lines and fabrication work centers.
Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesTrack incoming parts, updating their status as they transfer through receiving, inspection, sort, rework, stocking locations, and releasing – escalating when issues arise, assisting with root cause identification and corrective action development for material handling related quality and velocity. Additionally, you will facilitate the speedy transfer of parts on grief file to point of use once available for receipt. You will regularly communicate with supported lines to expedite material planning.
Maintain and track complex SAP and Microsoft Office transactions that correspond to physical material movements or requirements, as well as maintain other electronic documentation. You will regularly take initiative to identify, document, communicate, and correct problems, report discrepancies and recommend solutions. You may participate in support projects as needed.
Relevant experiences such as mechanical aptitude in a personal or professional setting must be described in application.
Pay Rate and SchedulePosition includes a wage of $23.30/hour (total includes shift differential) and a comprehensive day-one benefit program, generous time off, and retirement benefits. Openings available on 3rd shift:
Sunday – Thursday, 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (i.e. counterbalance, turret, reach, picker).
- Experience distributing and managing counts of parts for manufacturing teams.
- Two years’ cumulative experience in logistics.
- Two years’ cumulative experience navigating Mach 1 / SAP in a warehouse environment.
- A Two-year degree.
- Caterpillar Paving Products experience.
Brooklyn Park, MN
Shift and HoursThird shift; paid weekly.
Hours:
10:00 PM – 06:00 AM (Sunday-Thursday).
- Operate material handling equipment (i.e. counterbalance, turret, reach truck, picker) and hand tools.
- Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices.
- Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists.
- Lift up to 35 lbs frequently.
- Work at multiple heights.
- Work in awkward positions, including forward reach, lateral reach, squat, overhead reaching, twisting, and forward head and rotation of neck.
- Repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, rotating.
- Limited exposure to welding fumes and noise levels of 85 dB or greater.
- Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices.
- Work in environment with frequently changing temperatures.
- Required Personal Protective Equipment.
