Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake is looking for full-time Infection Preventionist (RN) to join our dedicated team! For over 15 years, Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake has ensured seniors have every opportunity to enjoy a rewarding lifestyle. With 142 independent living, assisted living, memory care apartments and 64 long-term and transitional care suites, our Brooklyn Park campus is a vibrant, established community where it's easy to establish positive connections.
This position will be scheduled to work day hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (48 hours per pay period).
Evaluating the quality of resident care and resident outcome as they relate to healthcare associated infections; collects prepares and analyzes HAI infection and surveillance data; presents infection data and makes recommendations for actions. The Infection Preventionist also monitors employee compliance in use of PPE and use of transmission precautions barriers and infection prevention measures; prepares and presents educational offerings for the staff and services as recourse to all departments and personnel.
Qualifications- Leadership and communication skills
- Maintain documentation of training offered and regulatory records/CEU's/Clock hours
Current Minnesota Registered Nurse Licensure in good standing.
Experience:Minimum of two (2) years of long-term care experience is required. Previous education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention is required.

$47,360 - $64,000/annually depending on experience.
